Old Lenovo PC → Home Server

Rather than retire a Lenovo IdeaCentre desktop, I repurposed it into a home Linux server. It now supports shared storage, remote administration, Docker containers, and website monitoring—a practical foundation for a larger family backup and automation project.

HardwareLenovo IdeaCentre 710-25ISH, Core i5-6400, 16 GB RAM, SSD storage.
WorkingUbuntu, SSH, local file shares, Docker, Uptime Kuma, and disk monitoring.
NextConsolidated, tested backups; UPS integration; additional automations.
